This monumental corner bank was designed in the Renaissance Revival style by architect Alfred
Hall, employed by Cleveland Trust Bank during a period of major branch expansion in the 1920s.
The Rockport Driving Park, a horse-racing track, occupied this corner from 1894 until 1920.
